The Town of Smithsburg is accepting resumes for the position of Assistant Clerk / Treasurer until the position has been filled.
Assist Clerk/Treasurer with main office duties. The Assistant Clerk/Treasurer shall be responsible and knowledgeable along with the Clerk/Treasurer for the proper administration of all financial affairs and record-keeping of the Town. The Assistant Clerk/Treasurer shall attend regular Council meetings and take minutes in the absence of the Clerk/Treasurer. Be responsible and knowledgeable of all administrative duties as required to include website management, assisting the Mayor, Town Manager and Department Heads as needed.
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
