Kemp Proteins, Frederick, MD. Accountable for protein-based /small molecule characterization and assay development activities that lead to delivery of quality products and processes. Responsible for activities within the hybridoma development facility. Working within the Quality System will assist in planning, implementing processes that meet the expectation and timeline of both internal and external clients. Need PhD degree from an accredited University in Cellular Molecular and Biomedical Science or Cellular and Molecular Biology. Need 5 years as a Researcher or Scientist. 5 years experience characterizing antibody/protein interactions using biophysical and classical methodologies. 2 years experience working with and/or developing protein characterization methodologies, immunoassays, cell-based assays, and biochemical/biophysical assays. 2 years experience working with small scale protein expression and purification of novel proteins. 2 years experience leading teams of more than 3 research associates or other scientists. Must have led and designed at least one experimental study. Experience can be gained concurrently.
