Summary
Hood College invites applications for a full-time Copywriter. The Copywriter is responsible for writing compelling, on-brand copy for websites, brochures and other publications, emails and other collateral.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· The goal of the copywriter is to engage and influence people’s behavior through words and stories.

· In addition to copy and content creation, the copywriter will work collaboratively with all members of the campus community, including the Graduate School, advancement and alumni relations, and undergraduate admission, to research and find exciting ideas to tell the Hood College story.

Education and/or Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, public relations or communications-related field and 1-2 years’ experience writing and producing public-facing content.
