We are seeking a full time Home Care Account Executive in Northern Virginia. The Account Executive will have a defined sales territory and will be responsible for cultivating new referral sources and maintaining relationships with the existing referral base. Performs direct marketing with physicians, hospital and discharge coordinators. Develops territory business plan for the development of new referral sources, manages the sales process from prospecting to closure according to the set objectives in the territory business plan. The AE must be a self-starter with a proven ability to prioritize work while meeting or exceeding plan objectives.
o Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
o Minimum of one year of experience in the health care field in a marketing role (Home Infusion, DME, Hospice).
o Ability to interact with all levels of professional and non-professional staff, as well as patients and their families under difficult circumstances.
o Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
o Demonstrates good communication skills, both written and verbal; excellent negotiation skills; and excellent public relations skills.
o Planning, organization, time-management, presentation, and interpersonal skills are all extremely important to the success of this position.
o Ability to handle stressful situations/deadlines.
o Computer literacy required
