The Grants Coordinator reports directly to the City Clerk and City Administrator. The Grants Coordinator conducts all aspects of grant research, application, reporting, reimbursement requests, and project coordination. This position works closely with all City departments, and focuses on grants dealing with infrastructure, recreation, public safety, economic development and tourism, etc.
Qualified candidates will have prior grant administration experience, with priority given to those candidates who possess experience working in a municipal or county government or non-profit setting. Candidates should be well versed in federal, state, local, and private grants. The ideal candidate will be proactive and detail-oriented, with keen written and oral communication skills. The Grants Coordinator should be highly organized, deadline-driven, and a motivate, self-starter. This position should be able to work independently, while taking direction and input from others within City government. Applicants must be able to work Monday – Friday, 8-4:30pm, and also be able to attend periodic evening meetings.
