HOMELESS SERVICES: AMERICORPS MEMBERS NEEDED for full-time (approximately 40 hours a week) and part-time (approximately 20 hours a week) service at the Frederick Community Action Agency (FCAA). The positions involve assisting lower-income and homeless families and individuals through the provision of services at the Frederick Community Action Agency. Applicants must be mature, demonstrate good judgment, possess good communication skills, and be organized and motivated. Candidates must be high school graduates (or equivalent) and possess an interest or background in human services. A valid driver’s license is desired. Proficiency in speaking and understanding spoken Spanish is also preferred. The AmeriCorps Program is a national service program that provides a living allowance of $14,279 and an educational award of $6,195 for 12 months of full-time service and part-time members will receive a living allowance of $7,139 and an educational award of $3,097.
